Sustainable House Day 2025

Sustainable House Day 2025 is on Sunday 4th May.

Sustainable House Day, hosted by Renew, is an annual event where you can visit some of Australia’s most inspiring green homes and learn more from those who designed, built, and live in them.

In 2025, we are focussing on retrofits and renovations, that can help Australians to make their homes more energy-efficient, cost-efficient and comfortable.

Calling all sustainable homes: be part of Sustainable House Day 2025!

Do you own an energy-efficient, inspiring home? Have you electrified your home, or installed sustainable features, like solar panels or energy-efficient upgrades, that you can share with others in your community? This opportunity to see, hear and explore in person about your home sustainability journey is a powerful peer-to-peer learning opportunity that can empower others.

Sustainable House Day 2025 is now inviting homeowners to join our lineup of featured homes.

By sharing your home and sustainability journey, you can spark conversations that inspire others to take action—whether it’s building a brand-new eco-friendly home or retrofitting an existing one to be more comfortable, energy-efficient, and affordable to run.

Your story matters. Each shared experience helps create a supportive space for peer-to-peer learning, where practical advice and inspiration can flourish.
